WaterSilo cistern provides a distributed solution for the CSO/SSO problem.
Unlike a centrally located, large scale CSO/SSO storage tunnel project, which is the conventional approach to tackling overflowing combined and sanitary sewer, WaterSilo storage units can be deployed at sub-basin level to capture the overflows throughout the basin.
Instead of the several years, the individual WaterSilo projects in each sub-basin only take a few months to design and construct, while work on multiple sites can proceed simultaneously.
